We are looking for people who are totally obsessed with computers and the Internet and have a good knowledge of the latest news on technology gadgets and computers and also any sort of designers such as Graphic designer, web designer, illustrator, interior designer etc. who can either showcase their work or give tutorials and inspiration.
Must not be an article you copied from another site and you must have an EXCLUSIVE LICENSE that only allows your name to be associated with the articles produced by you or for you. Please don’t waste your time and ours by copying articles which you have no authority to use as we will reject these. Why do we do this? 1) It makes you look like a fraud because you're putting your name on someone else's works that already may have hundreds or thousands of other authors who already put their name on the exact same works and 2) we do not want more than one copy of any article in our directory.
Must be an original article that you wrote. If you work for an author as an employee or contractor and are submitting the article, please submit the article as if it was from the original author including his or her name.
Must beinformative and share your unique expertise. Include tips, strategies, techniques, case-studies, analysis, opinions and commentary in your articles.
Must not be a press release, advertisement, sales letter, promotional copy, or blatant and excessive self-promotion or hype.
Must have proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. While we know there is a variation in what is considered "proper English," we ask that you at least be consistent within your article. Your article must also be proofed and double checked for accuracy. If English is your second language, we strongly suggest that you have it proofed by someone who has English as their native tongue before submitting your articles to us.
Must not contain: pornography/adult material, hate or violence-oriented, suggest racial intolerance, advocate against any individual or group, have insulting, obscene, degrading tone, or contain profanity.
Must not contain any content that is a violation of any law, be considered defamatory, libelous, or infringes on the legal rights of others.
Must not be a submission of the exact same article as one that you already submitted. Some authors have submitted the same article multiple times with only a few words changed in the body.
The Format
A) TITLE
Should not be all capitals.
Should be no more than 20 words ideally around 10 words. We don’t want really long titles you want to make your title stand out by a couple of keywords.
Refrain from excessive repetitive punctuation in your TITLE. One exclamation "!" or question mark "?" is enough to make a point.
We do not allow your AUTHOR NAME or any WEBSITE URL to be in your TITLE.
We do not accept articles that use slang terms or profanity in the TITLE.
We do not accept articles that do not deliver on the article title. You must deliver in the article body on the promises made in the article title.
B) AUTHOR NAME
YOUR FULL AUTHOR NAME: You must include your first and last name as the author of the article. HOWEVER we do allow "First name - Last initial" or "First initial - Last Name.
We do not allow company names to be your AUTHOR NAME.
We do not allow email addresses or URLs to be your AUTHOR NAME.
Note: Do not add the date. We will add the date of when your article is on our website.
C) ARTICLE BODY
If your writing a text document then minimum of 150 words and no more than 5,000 words. For us, an ideal article size is 400-750 words.
Your website address should be at the bottom. If you put it at the top, we will move it to the bottom.
Your article body MUST deliver on what is promised in the title. We do not accept teaser links or phrases that require a reader to click away from the article or reference another source in order to receive the full benefit of what has been promised.
Your are allowed to add images for example if your article is on ‘My top 5 Graphic design posters’ then you may add images, In this scenario rule c)1 doesn’t apply but we would like commentary next to the image.
Your images need to be roughly around 180 x 135 if they are much larger leave them and we will reduce them if they are much smaller they will not be accepted.
You don’t have to worry about the layout we will sort that out once you send us your article. These rules are in place to make it easier for the submitters.
We allow text, images, html, animation and videos i.e your video tutorial ( give us the link or embed code)
D) Links:
1. Your links MAY NOT contain a file to be downloaded of any type.
2. We do not knowingly allow any URLs in any of our articles that are banned by Google or if your website engages in questionable SEO practices -- we may reject your articles.
3. We will not accept articles with links to adult-oriented websites, including websites that include pornography, adult-oriented sexual content.
4. We highly recommend including a link to your website but do not advocate including a mailto: or email link to your personal or work email account. Spammers will abuse it. It's better to include a valid website URL and let potential customers find your email address on your website.
How to Submit the Article
After following the guidelines carefully you may submit you article to info[@]hussmir.com (e-mail) using the following format so we know what goes where. The best way would be if you ‘layout’ your article on a word processor such as Microsoft Word and attach it to the E-mail. If you don’t have Word, Hotmail has it ready to use on the browser alternatively a link to where you article is already posted either on your website or another.

Can't get the images on the word document or the file is too large to attach to the E-mail?
1. If your document has lots of images and is too large to attach to the E-mail then compress the images.
a) Open the word document on your computer,
b)
Right click on any image and show picture toolbar
c) Click the compress images
icon
d) Select what you want to compress i.e all pictures
or selected image
e) Change from 'print' to web/screen 96dpi
f) Save the document and re-attach
2. If you still can’t send the file or get the images on your word document for any reason then give us a link for the images or use Hotmails SkyDrive and specify within your text where the image goes and what image it is by giving a description of the image so we know.
For example: From Transformers to Lego, headphones have become the newest of fashion accessories; we've noted the top 10 coolest earphones ever.
Transformer earphones {Image A goes here - lady with transformer earphones}
Therefore your first image will be named image A to make it easier.
